November 18, 2010 - 12:08 AM Welcome Winter Another First for the Twins Remember this? One of the last leaves of fall clinging onto it's October color. I love this picture. A quote from a classic movie. "I thought you said your dog does not bite!? That .. is not my dog." Still makes me chuckle. If it's not ringing any bells, you probably haven't seen it. My dad would get it. I think he was the one who first introduced me to that series of films. Thanks, Dad. I've had many a good laugh since. Such tiny, precious, pruny feet. Had another birthday! Looks a bit old for one... Makes for some easy candle extinguishing... No idea where he got that look from... If you want to carve a pumpkin you have to help gut it. I hate to do the dump and run, but it's already 12:20 am and I need to get to bed! *sigh* Some day I'll write lots of stories. These pictures will remind me. One thing I have to write about, I was in Superstore the other day buying some lettuce. Romaine hearts, three pack - one bag, to be specific. At the top of the bag there was a zip-lock seal and above that it had tearaway plastic, the kind you'd have to remove the first time you opened the package. Written on the bag was this: "Sealed For Freshness." Sealed. As in in-penetrable. Sounds good, until you examine the rest of the bag and find that it is completely perforated to let the lettuce breathe... More false advertising I suppose. I saw another such idiocracy in packaging the other day but the details are eluding me at the moment. Must be that hour. My brain knows that if I remember, I'll write, and the longer I write, the shorter I sleep. The shorter I sleep, the lesser I get, and the lesser I get, the more I hear about it. Coherent? Not at this hour... :P Goodnight. I'm lobbying to change her name to Chevious. Miss Chevious. Goodness knows it would fit... BACK to Journal Index |
