June 6, 2010 - 10:55 PM Grow cuter every day! ![]() We aren't the only ones who are excited! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() My little man. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This was the device the twins were transported in. It looks much more serious than it was. Actually, they have fared better than most babies born at their age and we're hoping and praying that they will be home by the end of this week. ![]() 2010-06-17 07:04:00 Week One The first 6 days in review It's almost been a week since the babies arrived home. Kristi's mom has returned to BC and I think we are starting to figure out our routine. With the babies needing to eat every three hours, it seems like a neverending process. This week has flown, and the babies are growing like weeds. Except not like dandylions because I don't have any dandylions. So far. Here are some pictures from the last week. ![]() Health care cuts are getting out of hand... Actually, because of the SVT's Josh's heart had while still in the hospital, we have to monitor his heart regularly. One of the nurses suggested we buy a Fisher Price stethoscope as it has reportedly worked well in the past for other parents and is a lot cheaper than the medical alternative. We did, but were having trouble hearing his heart with it so our nurse was trying it for herself. We ended up buying a proper one and (you're not going to believe this) but there really IS a huge difference... ![]() Of course, the Fisher Price version was part of a toy doctor's kit, and the girls have taken a surprising liking to it. I've never had so many checkups in my life! ![]() I don't mind the checkups... ![]() ... but some of the cures are worse than the diseases! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() On one of the nice days we had this week, the girls were outside running through the sprinkler. Oh the lazy (and seemingly shorter-than-ever) days of summer... ![]() Alright, so I had to throw in a flower picture somewhere... ![]() ![]() ![]() I love this picture. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The other day the girls suggested we do a picnic in the park. And we did. ![]() I think she's dreaming about English tea. ![]() ![]() ![]() Doing the Diaper-Dance ![]() Such tiny features. ![]() BACK to Journal Index |
